Description

The MiVoice Business Networking, Clustering, and Resiliency I&M course covers advanced topics in support of both enhanced and networked MiVoice Business systems.

This course qualifies technicians with a MiVoice Business Networking, Clustering, and Resiliency I&M Certification with a practical exam and qualifies them for Networking, Clustering, and Resiliency MiVoice Business support.

This course is Web-Based/Leader-Led. The student(s) will be remote and the course will be conducted with an Instructor leading the training sessions via a Web session environment. Practical exercises will be conducted with remote access to MiVoice Business Instances.

NOTE: Please see Equipment and Set Up Requirements for further details.

Every effort will be made to accommodate for the different time zones that students reside in. This may in fact cause some students to have an early start to their day and other students may have a later start time. 

Registration will not be accepted until the student has successfully completed one of:

  •  MiVoice Business Rel 9.1 Core Installation & Maintenance Leader-Led
  •  MiVoice Business Rel 9.1 Core Installation & Maintenance Remote Leader-Led
  •  MiVoice Business Rel 9.1 Core Installation & Maintenance Update Self-Study

Equipment and Setup Requirements

Given that this course is delivered remotely, students must have the following equipment:

  • One telephone capable of hands-free or headset operation with mute capability. This will be used for Audio Conferencing.
  • Two PCs or one PC with dual screens. One will be for the web session and the other is for ESM and documentation access.
  • Two Mitel IP Phones. Mitel 5320 through 5360 IP Phones and Mitel 69XX Series IP Phones can be used.
  • One Layer 2 PoE Switch to support the IP Phones

• High Speed Internet connection. 2 Mbps download and 400 Kbps upload minimum recommended speeds.

Equipment for class needs to be set up in a quiet environment for the best learning experience. Students must also have access rights to install software on the PC(s) for purposes of the lab environment.

Notification and information regarding Teleworker IP addressing and URLs will be communicated to the student by the Instructor prior to class start date. A test procedure will be included in this information to ensure all communication requirements will be met.
