This course presents several deployment scenarios and describes the market landscape for video solutions. In addition, the course provides a competitive overview and customer cases, including issues and problems that can be solved with Scopia® and how to present the value messages to various stakeholders.

Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:

• Describe the importance and impact of video and audio compression.
• Define and explain the function of a video codec.
• Explain and describe the different standards for transport, resolution, video, audio, and data.
• Contrast the utilization of the T.120 multi-media protocol with H.239 and BFCP for conferencing.
• Articulate the impact that resolution, frame rate, bandwidth, network, and QoS have on video quality.
• Describe the difference and impact of interlaced vs. progressive video scanning.
• Contrast the basic IP networking addressing terms.
• Differentiate the different types of video signals.
• Identify the components in a typical video conferencing solution as well as some of the optional components.
• Give a general overview on Scopia® video solutions and their components
• Identify different deployment scenarios for Scopia video components or bundles
• Understand the market landscape for Scopia video solutions
• Discover the customer's business issues and problems
• Address the customer's issues with the Radvision video solutions and services
• Convey the value of the Scopia video solutions to the customer
• Overcome the customer's objections to the Scopia video solutions
